if we can't be critical of the behavior called out in TZP without being marked off-side for "defending Gamergate" that's extremely poisonous

@hatredismymuse how about the part where a guy who beat his girlfriend enough that she got a restraining order is maybe not a reliable narrator?2 replies 0 retweets 1 like -
How about the part where fucking a bunch of people *while broken up* isn't in any sense abusive? I mean, I believe that ZQ has hurt people- I know some of those people! - but there is LITERALLY NO REASON to assume that anything in TZP is actually true.

I know a lot of men who have been abused. I'm in favor of men talking about their abuse. But if you write something like TZP? Welp.

so you're not in favor of men calling out their abusers if it leads to unfortunate consequences for their abusers (if they're women, at least). got it

No. I'm not in favor of men being misogynist fuckhead whether they have been abused or not.

Acting like the body of your EX girlfriend belongs to you is definitely misogyny.

women complain about infidelity all the time, does that make them the abusers?

IT'S NOT INFIDELITY WHEN YOU'RE BROKEN UP

i mean, if you really want to litigate the fine points, okay infidelity while not broken up was at issue, and so was creating an expectation of fidelity while broken up that turned out to be on a thee-and-not-me basis
