How would you describe that experience in games where you enjoy just *being* there, in the virtual world? As though you're living there, and you just want to hang out? Why do you think that is satisfying? What enhances that feeling for you?

This is an experience I really enjoy in games, but it seems to be elusive and hard to pin-down. It also usually requires fighting the game itself. (This is the basis of my Let's Walk series)

Like, I love just *being* in the world of Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, and I wish I could do more *living* kind of things in that world, rather than just killing stuff. I never actually got into the game proper.
