Don't see enough focus on Harry Potter's shitty "Oh gosh it is just so AWKWARD to be this rich surrounded by poors so I couldn't possibly help them"

I literally didn't know what tipping was until I was 16, I'm not blaming him for not considering this

Even that breaks down because he's paying for all his own stuff, he even gets a tour of their bank account and his.

Don't worry though, "being utterly thoughtless of how they could easily help so many people" is like THE defining magic-user trait in that world

No arguments there, but I still wouldn't expect even the most heroic child to fully understand finances, it's not like he has any idea what rent costs, for example. And you'll notice Harry didn't do much of the actual resistance planning, he was mostly along for the ride.

Honestly why WASN'T someone else handling his finances? What if he HAD decided to just blow it all because he's an idiot child with no idea how money works? "Because Dumbledore was counting down to his death anyway, Manna," great now I'm sad.

I do think there should be side-stories about mugging being a huge deal in wizarding world because they all just carry goddamn gold everywhere
