no, it totally does, fighting neoliberalism is definitely a way of accumulating cultural and social capital and therefore at least in potential financial capital

you've lost me?

"this is a significantly obscure selection from this artist's repertoire which you have mentioned, my good fellow"
-
and after that, "Swamp thing" and "Sandman" et al seemed like a step backwards. Also I couldn't commit to following something so episodic.
-
if you need something more standalone you should probably read We3, Seaguy, Marvel Boy, and All-Star Superman which i am entirely serious in calling the greatest Superman story ever told
-
We3 and Marvel Boy have the distinction of being good SF
-
I shall bear that in mind, but the last comic someone assured me was good SF was Saga
-
oh goodness no, Saga is great but it's space fantasy 100x harder than Star Wars is space fantasy
-
I didn't get on well with it. Something about the characters seemed totally false to me. I only read a few pages though.

oh, I think I get it, no St Swithen's Day is probably my fave thing in comics ever, but some how I couldn't commit to Swamp Thing
-
Morrison did write a smidge of Swamp Thing but i suspect you of confusing him with Moore, which is just giving him what he wants
-
maybe it was sandman... but I really thought he was onto swamp thing next, which kinda illustrates the problem.
-
Sandman is Gaiman lol
-
okay then it was probably zoids, or tellytubbies or something
