I finally watched "Rogue One" (sorry, I was moving when it came out) and it was very flawed, and also spoiled for me a bit, but still good.

gotta say I thought it was pretty poor, but I agree with Lucy's analysis that it tried to do new things. Should've cut Vader/Tarkin though.
