Venus has plenty of carbon, Humans would thank the AI if it managed to remove that and teraform the place into a second earth.
-
And at the same time, their society would become so indebted to you that you'd never have to deal with aggression ever again.
-
Humans are most useful friendly, and it's absurdly easy to keep humans friendly.
-
The only reason an AI might have to destroy humans, is if it thought another AI was using those humans to lay a trap.
-
Like say, one of those humans is <<<Randomly inspired>>> to write a symphony that turns out to be a basilisk hack against the local AI god.
-
That's the kind of thing that will keep AIs up at night (although humans would do well to fear more immediate threats, such as other humans)
-
But even then, there are probably more efficient methods of protecting yourself from a cosmic sql injection than killing anything loud.
