I don't get why companies without consoles are nervous/so slow to get on the bandwagon to cater to the PC market. We aren't small.
vague impression that "let's enter the PC market" is seen as equivalent to "let's have our game get paid for by only 0.1% of its players"

As opposed to consoles where the used game market has them seeing $0 and is flourishing and has been for ages?
-
maybe the thinking there is at least they got paid once? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The market's fear of piracy is so incredibly stupid. Everything can, and will be cracked. Those aren't potential customers.
