i'm not saying i can't handle a request for accommodation represented as on behalf of a group, i'm saying these are the obstacles

I think some skepticism about individuals speaking on behalf of groups is reasonable. But it doesn’t wholly discount the ask.

i agree, and it's a challenge to separate knee-jerk resistance to being asked to do anything differently from rational caution.
