Starting to think I dislike the phrase/idea of "queering." It supplants making actual queer representation, or feels haphazard in reading.

Expanding on this: I think it often lacks the analysis to see how narratives represent many of our own as lgbtq ppl and our experiences.

It strives to "Make it gay," rather than find an interpretation that is gay or mirrors what could be a generalized "queer experience."

And I generally try to avoid a cohesive or singular LGBTQ narrative, but just inserting w/o connection or substance feels... Lacking to me.
