I really don't feel bad about the comments Whedon got that are just legitimate criticism. Some were rude, but like.. crticism. It happens.

The more public your art is, the more likely you are to receive criticism. I've gotten it before, and I've had to admit it was right.

It's not the best feeling, but that's what you open yourself up to when you share your art with the world then give people a way to contact.

That said, contacitng a creator and just going "YOU'RE THE WORST" really... isn't... helpful. But "you write women poorly" isn't abuse.

Questioning why a character was white, not abuse. Saying you dont feel someone is a feminist? Not abuse. And demands to block are just weird

@chaosprime Don't blame. I'll critique people but I won't go after them, that's just... imho, rude.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@Carin_McLeoud yeah. presumably differences between legit critique and Davids searching desparately for Goliaths, but it gets blurry.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like
@Carin_McLeoud i mean, obvious cases are obvious, but the line isn't so much.
