Huh. Maybe I should reconsider Scala. Googling for Haskell jobs mentions it a lot.
@camlorn38 so i'm sure this is a dumb question, but if you're considering Twisted, what's wrong with using Node and calling reduce() a lot?

@chaosprime I don't know node.js and it doesn't seem to provide anything I can't get in Python.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@chaosprime I don't like javascript much, either, and this first prototype is a single-player game and local. -
@camlorn38 oh, if you don't like JS then that'd obviously be bad yeah -
@chaosprime Use that to see how fast and good the very non-OO architecture I'm thinking up is, then expand to online and probably charge. -
@camlorn38 sounds like a plan! -
@chaosprime And very few languages without a GIL fit the twisted/node architecture-Scala, Haskell, and C++11 are kind of it.

@chaosprime I'm going to take my powerful audio library and do diablo, but separated into a local client and server. -
@chaosprime Best case, I can share half the code and it's fast enough. Worst case I need another programming language without a GIL.
