@chaosprime like, you're into this thing of describing folks i know as "monolithic feminist drone army" or smth and it's offensive as shit.
@wirehead2501 right, when Ashe blocked me for, y'know, dissenting. i certainly see battle lines being drawn a lot. "drone army" = bit heavy.

@chaosprime Ashe blocked you because you were being pedantic at her and she has a low tolerance for that since it so often escalates. -
@wirehead2501 wow, i'm all over some pedantic when it suits me, and i did not consider myself to be doing pedantic at all in that exchange. -
@wirehead2501 (the other amazing thing is that pedantic is a tone.)

@chaosprime again: battle lines is an unfair characterization when one side is actively oppressed & trying to protect themselves. -
@wirehead2501 all i really hear there is that it's okay because the people on the other side of the line are *actually* bad and harmful. -
@wirehead2501 not like all those times where we draw battle lines when pleasant, harmless people are on the other side of them. -
@chaosprime sorry, i do actually have to work. criticism = being provided because i know you & like you as a human. take it as you will. -
@wirehead2501 *nod* thanks. :) basically, my objection is to "it's good when the right people do it and bad when the wrong people do it". -
@chaosprime 1) context matters. 2) Chad & Shanley were not doing the same thing.
