@chaosprime I meant something like a series of pulldown menus from the user end, put together a content warning, with relevant content.

@chaosprime It will, yes, but better that than the status quo of "suck it up". This can be calibrated and renegotiated at all times. -
@nullvoid9 the situation stays "suck it up" for everybody whose triggers aren't a cause celebre. i.e. all people with actual triggers. -
@chaosprime Isn't there a bit a no true scotsman here? But, if anything, it will send the message of "suck it up" to assholes.

@chaosprime I'm not the sort of person to disagree when called out. -
@nullvoid9 that's handy. i can't imagine my rage at being required to label my work with this -ism or that at some rando's bidding, myself. -
@chaosprime Far be it for me to tell you how to feel, but maybe it's something to think about. Is it really such a big deal? -
@nullvoid9 yes. it's the difference between being told your work is Wrong and Bad and being coerced into parroting the words yourself. -
@chaosprime It seems as if putting those labels would deter most comments of that nature, and if not, then there no diff. But fair warning. -
@nullvoid9 yeah, that's certainly beneficial if one agrees with everybody else about where the lines are drawn. -
@chaosprime Well, getting too restrictive abt or rejecting CWs all-together just to avoid this issue will end up hurting those who need it.
