@chaosprime I have never liked GURPS as a thing to play a quarter as much as I have liked reading GURPS books. -
@Carin_McLeoud *nodnod* i find it's best to use the character design system and then mostly ignore the actual things-happening rules -
@chaosprime Just using GURPS as a basis for a freeform campaign? I havent actually tried doing anything freeform with more than 2-3 in ages. -
@Carin_McLeoud pretty much. as a GM i'd just work from a vague idea of how good people were at things with dice rolls for flavor. -
@chaosprime Hm. I dunno. At that point, a variation of a white wolf system sounds more fun. -
@chaosprime If you're going to have numbers matter, anyway. And I like WW systems. WW ever do a cyberpunky system? -
@Carin_McLeoud there was a lot of cyberpunk kinda shoehorned halfassedly into Mage: the Ascension. nothing else leaps to mind. -
@chaosprime I never read any mage books. Might need to just for kicks. New or old mage better? - 6 more replies

@chaosprime NEVER TRUST A CHROMATIC DRAGON -
@Carin_McLeoud words to live by. oh, also black dragons are dragons chimerically genespliced with vampire DNA to make stealth dragons -
