How do you spell u-ey, as in slang for a U-turn. "He took a u-ey." Is that right?

@StevenBrust I just looked at urban dictionary for you, a sure sign of love, and it confirms u-ey.2 replies 0 retweets 2 likes -

@jenphalian@stevenbrust Native Bostonian me says I've never seen it with a hyphen. Also, correct verb is 'to bang a uey'. Fwiw. ;p1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@AlbredaAylese@StevenBrust Regional differences are important. I use the verb 'to hook' but don't know where I picked it up.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -
