Why do so many people think "acting professionally" is about cursing and clothing? Is the concept of treating people with respect so weird?
@xwjl There is a mainstream narrative of professionalism that is precisely about those things. I'd say if you mean respect, say respect.

@xwjl My personal, direct experience of "professionalism" is that it means whatever the speaker wants it to mean to control my behavior. -
