There are things and thoughts out in hyperdimensional realms that can take you over in a bad way. A way that doesnt leave you with a blissful or organic non-being or non-I. "Demons".

what "you" exists that can be left with a "non-I"? feeling a miscommunication here. this guy pretty well explains the view of whatever i am: https://twitter.com/squarestocubes/status/1263906008943833090?s=21 …https://twitter.com/SquaresToCubes/status/1263906008943833090 …

the observer circuit and the decider circuit split (or the joining of them was the illusion in the first place.) the decider-self "needs" a sense of self to determine where it's headed and so how it "should" react. the observer-self doesn't and isn't, it is the constant now.

imo the point is actually not to ditch the decider-self like so many advocate, but to consciously synthesize and switch between to build a meta-self.

YES. Very much so. Developing the space between the observer and the actor, is illusive but very apparent when achieved. It's so fascinating to feel, that separation, those different locii.

hmm, that sounds more relatable, it's as if there was some illusory conjunction between decision, observation, attention, memory, and time, which all constructed a false self. the most defining component of this, tho, was upbringing.

well it's not fully an illusory conjunction tho - the conjuntional is real, the conjunction is the real self. that it's a conjunction and not a single entity is the illusion, afaict.

idk. i've kinda lost interest in complex discussions of these things. used to have many elaborate descriptions of how this stuff works, but it's impossible to describe atm, feeling that this describing itself is also a cause of whatever the illusion is

kinda like--pin it down and kill it, grasp the sand in a fist and lose it,
@chaosprime calls it "driving a spike" into something, or, top-down system building. now that the spike-self is removed, i don't want another to replace it
