the closest thing to a creed that Buddhists will agree on is probably the Four Noble truths, but that's not so much a belief as it is an outline for the practice.

there's a bitter irony in that though, since nominally one of the purposes of Buddhist practice is to make you better able to escape the insanity of ideology and conflict causes by aversion. but then some fucker runs head first into the aversion.
