No. Eastern religions have literature that changes with every era. To get the crux, you've got to read its "primary literature" which is mostly in an ancient language but experts across the world have translated and interpreted it.

The closer you are to these texts, the less versions you will find. Also, subsequent versions of Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism (all branched out from the same thing) are polluted with political agenda.
