Some article said a barrier to Rust adoption was the lack of libraries like CPAN or pear, is that getting any better? Are there any frameworks or do you have to write everything from scratch?

I'm at "learning language constructs" level, so I can't speak to that stuff yet. Sure as hell hope there are frameworks, though, because I'm way too lazy to survive if not.

for package management it doesn't seem like too much to hope that they'll have observed that npm and composer are pretty fucking good and that something like that will have turned up instead of a shitshow like gradle
