ugh much sympathy. since getting set up in vr i have been excited to take this old idea and try to render it in 3d but it violently resists 3d aesthetics.https://twitter.com/asthesparksfly/status/1091464462987681793?s=20 …

really wanted to make tiphareth a cube cause it has 8 points of contact but it's really hard to make the other shapes touch outside it in any symmetric way. maybe a prism instead? maybe they touch inside tiphareth? all unsatisfying. i'm just working in the wrong dimensions.pic.twitter.com/aKXXlXaAQA
i tried to imagine what that would look & went insane. oops.
I think... some of the 3D incursions would be ovoid?
seems likely
Okay Picture this scene Something so big We can't see it
i guess that would be something so big that no matter how far you get from it you're still inside it
A cube falling corner-first through a plane generates equilateral triangles then a bunch of hexagons (one of them regular) then triangles again before it disappears. What’s the 4D analogue?
A tetrahedron first. Not sure what comes next but I'd guess an octahedron in the middle.
