wondering why IT professionals seem so overrepresented in buddhism and similar contemplative traditions. @Meaningness might say "access to kegan 4" but why then not biologists, etc? anyone have any ideas? @chaosprime

random hypothesis: information technologists are working with processes that are so similar to familiar forms of cognition as to make not recognizing them as such almost impossible, and they have their hands in the guts of these processes in a way most biologists don't
