esoteric traditions typically speak in some way of this knowledge being "transmitted", the idea being that if you can't get it across by saying it, you can in some way move it around by other media. possibly i may be permitted doubt as to how much of this is actually occurring

the SRP is directly and effectively occulted *by* the easy-to-understand presentations which are made of it. and we see with the millions of Java architecture astronauts it has spawned that this kind of thing can be massively destructive. be careful with the occult, kids

related: insightful phrases tragically obsolesce; "trite" catchwords contain wisdom hidden under 1) their ubiquity and 2) ppl's assumption that they understand the original insight which sparked their creation, eg "paradigm shift." then, new phrases must be invented.

one of my favorite examples of this is "property is theft" originally a koan-like piece of agitprop, designed to encourage people to question societal assumptions around the concept of "property" eventually became a trite, usually unexamined statement of political position

Disagree here only due to lack of action: the reason Mystery School type groups still manage to hang on, for example, is that their teachings look very stupid on paper but are difficult to parse if taken seriously and experienced. Taking specified actions changes your perceptions
