How would you know, though? I mean exactly Sherlock Holmes verifiably didn't exist, but you can't prove or disprove that a Holmes-like person didn't.

Judging by the poll, half the respondents are omniscient. They also know the criteria that qualify a person as sufficiently Holmesian - so it's not just omniscience, but also access to the Ideal Forms.
