it's not really syntactical drift, it's just fucking up: reading "ha-nazari", i.e. "the Nazirite", the name of an ascetic spiritual tradition, as "the Nazarene", what you call somebody from a place whose name has the same stem letters as the ascetic spiritual tradition

The Jewish Calendar was Lunar. The seventh day would have been a different day each year- Monday, then Tuesday, etc. Keeping sabbath every seven days is sufficient, regardless of what location in the week it is, as long as Christians meet with their congregation.

right except they literally say that Sunday is the first day of the week corresponding to the first day of creation and then that God rested on the seventh day and then they rest on the first day
