What I'm getting from this: Lies imply secrets, as in, the truth regarding the lie is kept secret Lies also create misery due to the desire for truth not being met on a large scale Ergo any one man is necessarily a miserable little pile of secrets.

no it still follows; if you can only keep a very small set of lies straight (unusually honest) then your dunbar number will be unusually small and your friend group will be an even smaller fraction of that.
