I dunno, I kinda think that you're reading too much into an entirely cromulent opinion on ethanol effects :) Also, given stochastic nature of alcohol effects it is generally advisable to "brace for shittiness" when interacting with drunk humans

Yeah no. I tend to think that because I don't like how other people act when drunk and I think the practice of social drinking is probably unhealthy on balance. It breaks my heart to see the alienation it causes. I'm pretty sure it weakens its host cultures a lot.

I don't have many feelings about how *I* act when drunk, but I know that having diminished memory, perception of character and being unable to hear my anxiety module is a long way from my true self.
