all in all it was an improved experience over either prior mode, but still leaves me wishing for a sandwich i could just, y'know, eat probably not going to be paying $15 for these after this gift card i'm on runs out
this is NYC, that's only like $2.50 more than a typical yuppie lunch
soon my gift card will be exhausted and i'll be back to lunch consisting of going across the street and paying $2.60 after tax for a 7-11 cheeseburger big bite with all the pickles and sauerkraut my heart desires
I can't let you do that. there's a lenwich on 23rd st if you insist on being absolutely basic, and they always have soft bread.
don't care for them, and okay their bread is softer than these baguettes but i still associate them with hard-ass rolls that you have to carefully manage to be able to bite through without squirting the fillings out the side
come to think of it this is why i don't care for them not that i ever thought their sandwiches were amazing aside from that
it's basic a.f. but the chicken parm is competent and generous (it's two meals and reheats well)
