mindblowing that you can torture people, tell them it’s because of other people not giving you your way, tell them to demand that you get your way when any idiot can see this will not stop the torture, and they’ll *do it* maybe we do deserve what happens, just mathematically

We do in the largest sense. Individually, less so. We really need to find out what the highest level of persuasion resistance a society can consistently survive is and then insist on an indoctrination plan that infuses it.
