hot take: if it turns out that attractive women wind up with rectovaginal endometriosis more often because they wind up having sex earlier and that can cause rectovaginal endometriosis, y'all in a towering righteous fury about that study might wind up feeling like real assholes

if lambasting a study as vile and misogynist that produced useful insight and potentially improved outcomes for women's health wouldn't make anyone feel like an asshole, okay, party on then

"early sex bad for health" is already more or less entablished in epidemiology and it leads to flamewars about prejudice and victim blaming and yadda yadda, that one condition is added to the list won't change matters much IMO

like. it's what we in the business call "risk factor". that's why I don't see too much of a novelty here, unless chaos also expects a way for early sex leading to endometriosis being avoided to be discovered from this research (that could be a feel like an ass moment)

yeah, that's the interesting bit, if the specific insight leads toward mitigation
