So it's a good time to try to sneak in questions you've always wanted to know about dragaera, is what I'm saying.

Exactly when did the Easterners how up in Drageran history - are they really native to the world or are they remnants of ancient colonists? I'd ask Sethra as she probably knows, but she scares the bejesus out of me!

Did those colonists know how to use witchcraft or did they discover it on Drageara?

Yeah the first easterners to figure out how to tap into the orb were probably like "whoa, weird!" But I suspect their witchcraft is peculiar to them. Again, Sethra probably knows but I doubt even Vlad is ready to ask her.

The easterners were genetically modified by the jenoine to have psychic ability. Witchcraft is a ritualized for of psychic ability.

Of course, how did I miss that! I have to stop getting high before reading Taltos! (Actually I read the last one sober - it was still great!) But it gives me such awesome dreams! LOL. OK, on the bucket list - reread every Taltos. But you'll have to wait behind Zelazny's Amber.

Well, the two are certainly related in writing style.
