ehh while extreme philosophy nerds are annoying and academicism is a blight to this world, i'd be more inclined to be generous to pseuds if it were not for the fact that they (at least the more prominent ones) seem to have largely the same goal as academics (prestige, being read)

disregard nerds, read what you like as a former nerd, i think they'd be less prone to snide assaults if it were not for pseuds getting mad cred for shallow re-inventions of ideas that are not only not new, but already common place for anyone who's done even a tiny bit of reading
