You’re the one that brought up fucking gun control dog. I was fine w talking about Phil Hine or whatever. Don’t make lame assertions if you aren’t interested in the actual conversation.

if a piece of bad faith horseshit like that is what passes for actual conversation i'll stick to trolling

I was actually trying to figure out what you meant.

okay should be obvious that is isn't about particular blue-tribe-bugaboo models of weapon but population armament in general and it's trying to understand systemic behavior without the ability to change the system and see what happens so yeah it's gonna be hard to point to shit

what i am proposing is that if there is a difference between your current level of immiseration and the maximum level of immiseration you can safely be subjected to, and that difference corresponds to more value that can be extracted from you, that difference is an *inefficiency*

Has it been considered that there is *no* level of immiseration that one can *safely* be subjected to and that this is the entire issue. People will give their life to prevent a lower quality of life than they are used to for themselves or their family. All armement of every one

i mean, it looks a lot like the safe level of immiseration is pretty high and climbing boiled-frog style mind you we're not talking about safety for anyone but those in a position to make choices about what the system does

What if they all enjoy pushing the level higher because they can?

that would certainly be unfortunate if that's the case the safety->immiseration loop should be very fast because it's driven by active volition not adaptive pressure

faster cooking does imply a shorter amount of time spent enduring suffering, so I guess that does go on the plus side of things.

apologies for dragging the crustaceans and amphibians into the matter, but sometimes there is nothing left than to get basic to be really eared by those with eyes to do so.
