my recent investigations lead me to infer from first principles that there are three predominant kinds of Hot Sauce Guy. a Type A Hot Sauce Guy, if you let him introduce you to his hot sauces, has a small assortment of sauces you've never heard of on hand; they are all delicious

the differences between them might not be dramatic, but they're all a cut above what you're used to. he also has Cholula and Tapatio on hand and has nothing against them. (like him, we will not speak of Tabasco.)

a Type B Hot Sauce Guy has either a much larger assortment of sauces than a Type A, or only one sauce. whatever he has is unsuitable for use as hot sauce, or food, in most or all circumstances. if he has any major brand sauce around, he spares it a contemptuous glance at most

the Type A will tell you what obscure local manufacturers his sauces came from. the Type B will tell you that, and where he first encountered it, who he was with, what he had been doing that day, what he'd been listening to lately, maybe how richly textured the locals' lives are

In that case, imho, 3 types fine (no one brings their own sauce to dinner when they know the chef is good, unless he is notorious for never serving up hot enough sauces, but in this case he should know this already and anticipate the chaos), vote unchanged, as you were, dear Sir.
