There is an entire community around this kind of ad/attention fraud. https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/d3naek/how-to-make-a-phone-farm … Ironically, bubble burst because of wide scale adoption of automation detection via AI. It's seeding an arms race. Fake people to make money.
