i knew this before but i was just reminded that most people experience inner monologue without it having any shape or position, wondering how anyone gets by with their mind collapsed down into a point like that

Is the internal monologue like debug logs. Does anyone really have an active narration going on in their head at all times? Seems very compute heavy
