Well, SC is like, an organizationy thing ran by Minds IIRC. This is just "you are allowed to be your own SC if you really Feel the SC Feel In Your Gut"

which is necessarily the basis of SC existing, given what organizations are and aren't in the Culture the whole thing of being "accepted" into SC is just a matter of whether the people already doing the thing are willing to work with you
