Eh, Bendis dialog is as stilted and mannered as Mamet or Pinter or SWE but it hits on some things that actual speakers do that usually aren't in the traditional representations. +>

I remember a bit from an article on natural language processing that faithfully represented a conversation the author had just had with a housemate: "Did you get the thing from" "the place, yeah" "Yeah" "Yeah" (cf. Homer Simpson's "The blue thing with the things")
