...no? My previous personhood criteria still apply. If a person meets that standard, but then temporarily ceases to, that doesn't withdraw personhood status. That's all. Nothing self-referential, which is a phrase I rarely find myself saying.

I think "potential" might be too broad. But I wouldn't disagree that in most respects we should treat entities we expect to become persons as though they already are.
