i strongly support antinatalism because its long-term effect will be to breed susceptibility to antinatalism and the tendencies that underpin it, and to a lesser degree susceptibility to memes in general, out of the species

see, isn't it amazing? a few dozen generations of this and it isn't too much to hope for elimination of the concepts of morality, selfishness, evil, and investment risk reasoning entirelyhttps://twitter.com/lynz_h55/status/1151815375165808646 …

I think it does represent more susceptibility to memes, which explains why they already have memes in all of the meme-slots that antinatalism would otherwise occupy (a la Snow Crash)
-
in other words, religiosity doesn't have to be a superior meme, it just has to breed people easily susceptible to memes and then be the first one in. There's definitely a 'first mover advantage' for the defending meme cluster

I mean, caring about the human gene pool or the survival of the species is just a different religion, another sort of hope for eternal life. What is Man, that thou art mindful of him?
-
yeah, i have no inherent objection to Man exiting stage left, i just have aesthetic preferences regarding why

There are many kinds of Anti-Natalists, My personal flavor is efilism so global warming has nothing to do with it. People get "infected" with their religion by their parents and by their peers, Antinatalists show some level of contrarianism and independent thought.

Religious people literally just copy the belief-structure of the high-status people around them. That is the highest susceptibility to memes there is. Almost no one that grows in a Christian environment becomes a Muslim or vice versa.
