embracing nihilism is just leaving easy mode

Nihilism is a concept that can’t be practiced IMO. If one is alive, clearly one is living for something, even if it’s just for the sake of being alive. Therefore there’s some value in the world.

I’m aware of meta-nihilism, but it’s still contradictory to what I’m saying no? There’s no such thing as an existence which doesn’t attach value to something. Therefore “meaninglessness” itself is just a concept.

idk, literally attaching value to nothing doesn't seem unachievable to me, like you're not even bothering to kill yourself because what would be the point of that. but i don't think that's the point of nihilism really, the point is confronting the emptiness of received value

So death by starvation/dehydration would be the nihilist outcome? There’s no point to anything so I guess it must be. All action needs rationale of some sort.

well it gets into boring questions of what "you" is and where agency exists, like if you let yourself seek food and water without assigning any *value* to doing so because the organism demands it, is that nihilistic or is it a value encoded biologically. bunch of wank tbh

“Bunch of wank”. Agreed. Surpassing the need for meaning is the end goal of the human existence IMO. These kinds of questions are ultimately just sophistry.
