i hope that you will give some consideration at some point in your future to the possibility that the things about yourself that you feel to be noble commitments to truth may be more accurately categorized as schizotypal symptoms

Didn't say I was noble.. I'm aware the environment is crumbling. Grew up the son of a farmer. Now an engineer. Poisoned water, stripping trees away for oily asphalt, plastic bottles. I'm there, I'm part of the problem.

I'm rather indifferent lol.. I can afford to be. But to say we are a good species for the environment is a lie

since "good" for the environment only exists in our estimation, and "the environment" will one day be a thin smear of valueless atoms at zero degrees Kelvin no matter what we do, this meme you are reproducing is clearly just a hostile control system that's been implanted in you

Good is land that's plantible and water that's not poisonous. Anything other is bad

oh, gotcha. so the guilt is a kind of currency that you use to buy yourself a self-perception of being a better person than those who do the same things as you but don't feel bad about it. strong strategy, carry on!

not at all, if one isn't making some sort of special cosmic crime out of that. probably the phrase "all we do is rape and destroy" won't come out of one's mouth that much in that event, though

that's absolutely true. and so what? what is the proposition "n + 1 generations existing under conditions of resource decline before resource exhaustion is better than n" but the axiom from which the repugnant conclusion follows?
