okay, I think I know what I was trying to say. the equation of supervillains to ruling class reifies the bioessentialism of "supers" in the first place. The Incredibles was definitely still reactionary for that premise,

but by exposing the real ways super characters are socially disadvantaged (maybe if i read x-men more or actually participated in this fandom i'd be able to say something meaningful) then we can revert(?) that condition to its constructive ideology.
