c# named arguments are such a gift to self-documenting code languages that are just like "oh it's okay we'll just use an associative array" do not get that some of us actually don't want to malloc and free thousands of times a second for routine message passing

I don't understand the connection between named arguments & routine message passing
this is not necessarily a problem with the tweet -
oh, i wasn't really using "message passing" properly, pretend i said "function calls" just being salty about foo(bar => baz, qxx => qyy) syntaxes that are building a dictionary under the hood
