also, right discourse is often banal (of course you want to ban dem weeds, grampa) with all points of contention argued over a million times and relegated thoroughly to a "platonic disconnect" type disagreement that can't be resolved by arguments

criticizing left discourse is a lot more fun because they're often almost saying good things but falling short in highly salient ways, whereas right discourse is usually saying horrible things in ways that are for-some-reason socially acceptable
