*nodnod* here, i'll help: the ultraprep is more than 50% that they're literally supers, treated with the same stuff that makes the costumed ones, they just don't dress, talk, or think like supers

Yeah that's not as interesting! I think that, aside from the thematic issues (which are enough) there is a plot I've wanted to see for a while which is like...mass manufactured human science vs super powers/vampirism/what have you.

yeah, i could go for some of that. after some reboot, Zero Hour maybe, DC was doing a Men of War comic that held out some promise of dealing with the stark unspeakable horror of being a line soldier in the DCU but got cancelled pretty fast

to some extent that's the whole premise of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. i guess, at least until they start leaning on having powered people on the core team
