How do I automate composer and git, and possibly curl (in other words, commandline dev flow) processes on my local environment without bash?

I dunno what composer is, but what’s wrong with bash, zsh, et al? Put your scripts under source code control?

It feels so "yo, I see you like scripts so here's some script to script your script."

I’m flattered... I think I’m just not sure what problem you’re trying to solve here

Trying to automate a common process that involves multiple steps per project, for multiple projects in a local environment. Specifically, Drupal update, which involves git, composer, repo API, etc.

have you tried pulling out all your hair? honestly I don’t think anything other than a shell script is gonna make it easier

yeah i'm pretty much on the "executing a sequence of command line tasks is literally what a command line interpreter is the tool for" train here
