you can tell this is something i really believe because it doesn't feel like a belief, it feels like *knowledge*. i don't honestly know how anybody with even a touch of the ol' autism hasn't reached the same conclusion, but takes all kinds i guess

if you consider yourself safely ensconced in your ingroup and so have no stake in it moderating its habits, my intuition tells me that you're either a wide-eyed ingenue, which is forgivable, or somebody who's never been anything but one of the popular kids, which is not

but anything i see you doing to someone you're cancelling is something i know in my bones you will one day be doing to me. so i take it a little personally, it being only by the grace of God that i do not go thus *right now*. maybe this is irrational at this point maybe

my first concern upon making a friend is to check if they have any heretical beliefs, the more the better someone who would change their beliefs to match those of their tribe cannot be trusted as they will probably do the same with who they support
