"Do you want something for your heart rate?" he literally asked me. NO, omfg, my blood pressure is 113/74 after taking 60mg of amphetamine (have recorded it going down to 90/60 without), taking any medication that would lower my heart rate/blood pressure may kill me.

But I totally agree, and highly recommend getting a portable blood pressure monitoring device (I have one that cost me under $30 from Omron (but make sure you calibrate it by comparing with a real doctor's reading)) to use in the comfort of your own home.
