That's odd, it should be causing an endothermic reaction on the can and you should hear the air blowing out. What kind of can do you have?

It is meant to blow air to remove dust by blowing it. The air isn't special apart from not having moisture in it.

No. It is meant for cleaning PC components. Blowing your own carbon dioxide at it is not recommended because it carries moisture in it. That's what canned gas/compressed air is for.

I realize you are using the straw but are you pointing the straw _at_ the dust when you trigger the can this is an important step also is the straw in the can's nozzle at the time
